Global Symposium Patient Blood Management
March 24th 2018, Frankfurt am Main
We are happy to organise the Global Symposium Patient Blood Management, taking place on March 24th 2018 in the Hörsaalzentrum of the Goethe University Frankfurt am Main.
In the morning, international experts provide an overview on the progress PBM has made worldwide. Sessions during the afternoon are opened by the introduction of three particular commited hospitals, being members of the German PBM Network. Following this, PBM is described from the point of view of a controller and of that of a lawyer, respectively. Furthermore, talks will be given regarding several important PBM topic. Finally, German PBM Awards and PBM certificates will be awarded.

Programm
The symposium is starting at 9 AM and will end at approximately 4:30 PM. During the individual sessions, there will be breaks during which refreshments will be offered. Anyone who wants to come is welcome to end the day with various delicacies on the Craft Festival Frankfurt in the building directly opposite of the venue.

The car park Grünhof APCOA is the closest place to park (Walking distance approx. 1km, walking time approx. 10 minutes). Unfortunately, parking on the campus itself is not possible .
Arrival by public transportation:
- Starting at the central station: S-Bahn, line S 1 – 9 to Hauptwache, change to U-Bahn, line U 1 – 3 or 8 to Holzhausenstraße or Miquel-/Adickesallee, approx 10 minutes walking distance.
Alternative: S-Bahn, line S 1 – 9 to Konstabler Wache, change to bus line 36 (towards Westbahnhof) to station Uni Campus Westend.
Alternative: from central stration bus line 64 to station Bremer Straße. - Starting from the south entrance of the central station: bus line 64 towards Ginnheim to station Bremer Platz (IG-Farben-Haus) or station Bremer Straße (Gisèle‐Freund‐Platz) (9-10 minutes).
